He didn’t care he was underage, he just wanted to have fun. Another part is when Liam wants to ride the Cosmic amusement park ride all day. He didn’t care he missed his bus going back to school, he just wanted to have a good time going on the 4G thrill ride.
Even though, letting go and having fun relieves stress it also helps you make friends. Just like when Liam won the contest and got to go to China with other dads. They all were friends right when they met even though they were all from different countries. It's also just like the time I went on a cruise ship and met lots of new friends.
While making friends is a good way to have fun, you also can see the world. In the book, Liam and Florida get to go all the way to China because they wanted to have fun and go to an amusement park. In addition, I went to the Wisconsin Dells because of a basketball tournament. You can go anywhere if you want to have fun.
